A Quick Aside,

This guy embodies everything that is wrong in American politics. His name is Rahm. Ballerina, bully, political terrorist. Read up a little on him and see if you don't come to the same conclusion. As soon as I heard that he was to be then candidate Obama's consigliere, I knew that all the "post-racial", "post-partisan", "New era of hope and change" talk was absolute crap. Up until that point there had been the barest flicker of hope that maybe this young Senator from Chi-town really could make a difference.

I'm Writing Something

But it's turned out to be more involved than I originally thought. Though to be honest I should have realized it from the outset. I need to ponder this one, and add to it in smooth, easy layers. If it turns out right, I'll post it in it's entirety.

Personal politics my friends,
know yours and be defined by it.

John Stewarts Still A Tool

Last night I did something I haven't done in a long, long time. I sat through an entire episode of the "Jon Stewart Show". Now to be honest, I only did it because I was waiting for the new South Park to come on, and I've been feeling a little under the weather so I was too lazy to get up and switch stations.

My conclusion:

Jon Stewart is still a tool. Not really any funny stuff there. Stewart has gone the way of Family Guy and other shows I used to get a laugh out of. Now I like a god Bush/republican/conservative joke as much as the next guy. But FFS, if that's all you have, all you use for the last couple years, then maybe it's time to get new writers. Or find a new job. Either way, I'm not tuning in anymore.

So What's New?

A lot. Unfortunatley, I'm not feeling real inspired to write anything beyond this short entry. Maybe later.

News Flash:

Man, it is really, really late here and I'm bushed from the outstanding pre-Halloween bon-fire we had tonight. But something just news flashed on FOX that I wanted to put up here.
Apparently, a "suicide" attack has killed five of the Iranian revolutionary guards top commanders. No one is yet saying who perpetrated the attack, but my money is on U.S. special forces through a proxy or a predator drone strike. Much like the "mystery" explosion on the Iraq/Iran border last year, (that rumor has it was a carried out by US predator drones on a convoy carrying a massive amount of material for IED's) we will likely not know the complete truth of this for some time, if ever. One thing that is certain now however is that this is a major blow to the Shah's crack military apparatus at the worst time possible for Iran. The strike was on Iran's southeastern border with Pakistan.

Here's my two cents:
The Paki's, with US assistance , are carrying out an offensive right now that could finally break the back of the Talib's and al-gayda in the belly of the beast, Waziristan. I think that the Iranian revolutionary guard commanders were on the border either helping facilitate the importing of weapons and materials to the Talibs and al-gayda to fight us and the Paki's or, they were there to help facilitate Talib and al-gayda leaders crossing over into Iran for hiding. Either way, the worlds a little better place now with these dirt bags dead.
