OF WHY OBAMA WON THE ELECTION
From a teacher in the Nashville area
"We are worried about "the cow" when it is all about the "Ice Cream"
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year.
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.
I decided we would have an election for a class president.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support.
I had never seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better
place. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down.
Now is was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise.
She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream."
She sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes!
We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream?
She wasn't sure.
Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it.
She didn't know.
The class really didn't care.
All they were thinking about was ice cream.
Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and
52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds.
They want ice cream.
The other 48 percent know
they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess."
Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone ---
that they have not first taken away from someone else.
They told about restaurants and businesses barring entry and service to people wearing "Tea-Party" T-shirts, and pro-obama people spitting on tea-party protestors.
Sad but not surprising.

So NOW the Constitution is something to be respected??? Where were the libs with this sentiment when they (Libs) violated the Attainder statue to regulate the bonuses of private citizens? Will this guy stop the same action which is being proposed for private banking employees from institutions who took NO TARP or stimulus money?
"Congressman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, denounced a Republican Amendment adopted by the House of Representatives to deny all federal funds to ACORN as blatantly unconstitutional and a threat to unpopular organizations everywhere......That’s what this Amendment did. It is flatly prohibited by the Constitution, and once we ignore the Constitution we ignore constitutional principles. Whatever one may think of the subject matter or the organization, the Constitution and the ban on Bills of Attainder are there for the protection of all of our liberties. It is unfortunate that we passed this, and I hope it is removed in the conference committee.”
How about the blatant violation of the 4th and 10th Amendments in relation to the proposed
nationalize health care bills?
I would be O.K. with this is the libs really respected the constitution all the time, and not just when it suits them.
Israel's isolation is nearly complete. Iran is within months of obtaining a nuke, if it doesn't already have one. Obama will not allow Israel to strike first, and has now capitulated to Russia and Iran on the missile defense shield that would have kept Israel safe from an Iranian missile strike.
"WARSAW, Poland – Poles and Czechs voiced deep concern Friday at to scrap a Bush-era missile defense shield planned for their countries.
"Betrayal! The U.S. sold us to Russia and stabbed us in the back," the Polish tabloid Fakt declared on its front page.
Poland in a dangerous "gray zone" between Western Europe and the old Soviet sphere." said he was concerned that Obama's new strategy leaves
China on the rise in Asia, Russia dominating Europe through control of gas pipe lines, Iran reading a nuke on Israel, North Korea dropping nukes everywhere, Pakistan on the verge of losing nukes to al-gayda.
I see dark days ahead.

This past August saw a record number of recorded gun sales in America: an estimated ONE MILLION firearms sales were registered with the Fed and the ATF. Please note that this does not include second-hand sales.
For once the obamessiah got it right and actually stimulated the economy. I doubt this was the outcome he intended.
"PHOENIX — An Arizona couple accused of sexual abuse after taking bath-time photos of their children and then trying to have them developed at Walmart are suing the state and the retail giant......"
"The Peoria couple's attorney said Walmart turned the photos over to police and the Demarees were not allowed to see their children for several days and didn't regain custody for a month while the state investigated.
Richard Treon, the lawyer for the Demarees, said the images of the girls were part of a group of 144 photographs taken mostly during the family's vacation in San Diego.
There were seven to eight bath- and playtime photos of the girls that showed a "portion or outline or genitalia."
"There was nothing sexual about it," Treon said. "This is a parent's worst nightmare."
One lawsuit names Arizona, Peoria and the state Attorney General's Office as defendants, claiming that employees from each defamed them by telling friends, family members and co-workers that they had "sexually abused" their children by taking pornographic pictures of them."

"The Jerusalem Post is reporting that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have introduced an all-terrain snake-like recon robot/UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) a.k.a. robotic snake or “robot snake” to crawl around the battlefield looking for the enemy and potential targets."
Or is reality becoming more and more of an Aeon Flux episode?
"Israel Developing ‘Bionic Hornet’ to Target and Kill Enemy Combatants:
Reuters is reporting that Israel is utilizing nanotechnology to develop a "bionic hornet" (i.e. flying micro robot) capable of targeting, chasing, photographing and killing enemy combatants/insurgents/terrorists......
Israel is also reportedly developing "super gloves" that would give the wearer "bionic man"-type strength and miniature sensors to detect homicide bombers (a.k.a. suicide bombers)....."
The development of future combat systems has always intrigued me. Here's one that's gonna get a lot of play in the future I think:
"A company called Artis, LLC has developed an anti-RPG (Rocket-Propelled Grenade) ground vehicle defense system called the Iron Curtain Active Protection System (APS) that integrates C-band radar, a distributed optical sensor, and a ring of ballistic countermeasures to neutralize incoming RPGs."
This system detonates the RPG warhead prior to impact. Sounds more promising than explosive reactive armor.
